The firefighter's podcast was created in the hope that we can grow an environment where the status quo is to lift up, appreciate & celebrate our brothers and sisters in the emergency services including the military. acknowledging, unwrapping and drawing lessons from how they have tested their internal fortitude and resilience through open and frank dialogue.
We want the podcast to inspire people to develop themselves, celebrate, support and even join our emergency services.
We have started to value what we do more and for those who love it we have a way for people to really support the podcast.

INTRODUCING THE TEAM
Our host, Pete Wakefield is an operational UK firefighter with a wide set of experiences across other sectors.
He started the firefighter’s podcast as a natural extension of his professional and emotional commitment to the fire service and a wider admiration for the entire emergency services.
In his career as a professional firefighter in the UKFRS, he has benefitted greatly from the guidance and lessons in life taken from the numerous mentors, coaches, and inspirational people he has benefitted from meeting and working with.
